Patil Automation Unveils New 1.09 Lakh Sq. Ft. Plant

Patil Automation Limited (NSE: PATILAUTOM | INE17GV01016), one of India’s leading turnkey automation and robotics engineering companies, has announced the development of a new ~1,09,450 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Sadumbre, Maval. The investment marks a pivotal milestone in the company’s long-term expansion strategy and reinforces its commitment to scaling capacity in response to rising demand for advanced automation systems.

The facility represents a planned investment of approximately ₹55 crore and will bolster PAL’s capability to manufacture next-generation automation solutions, including robotic welding lines, assembly platforms, special-purpose machines, and Industry 4.0-enabled automation cells. At full operational capacity, the site is expected to create employment for nearly 200 skilled and semi-skilled professionals, strengthening the company’s engineering and production ecosystem.

A Major Step Toward 2× Throughput

With the addition of the new facility, Patil Automation's installed production capacity will increase from 2,304 units to 3,454 units annually. This scaled footprint positions the company to support large-volume turnkey programs for major OEMs across automotive, electric vehicles (EV), railways, defence, renewable energy, and heavy engineering sectors.

The expansion aligns with PAL’s strategic roadmap to double throughput, enhance manufacturing agility, reduce delivery timelines, and drive operational efficiency across its automation product portfolio.
