IIM Indore Opens Applications for MMS Batch 3

Indore(Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 27: Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has announced that applications are currently underway for the third batch of its flagship two-year Master of Management Studies (MMS) programme designed for working professionals. The last date to apply for the programme is February 10, 2026.

The MMS programme is a LIVE online degree offering that will run from March 2026 to March 2028, comprising approximately 900 hours of structured learning. It is specifically curated for mid-career professionals seeking to strengthen their general management capabilities, strategic thinking, and behavioural insights while continuing in full-time roles.

IIM Indore is among a select group of global institutions to hold the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA, reinforcing the global standing and academic rigour of the programme. The MMS degree equips participants to navigate increasingly complex and dynamic business environments through a blend of academic depth and practical application.

Delivered in collaboration with TimesPro, the programme offers comprehensive exposure across core management disciplines, including microeconomics, marketing, operations, finance, human resources, and strategic management. Participants further deepen their learning through curated electives, applied projects, and a thesis track in the later stages of the programme.

A distinctive feature of the MMS programme is its application-oriented pedagogy, which integrates live online lectures, interactive workshops, group discussions, simulations, quizzes, hands-on activities, and assessments. The curriculum is complemented by three on-campus immersions spanning 16 days, enabling participants to engage directly with faculty, peers, and the IIM Indore campus ecosystem, fostering collaboration and experiential learning.

Recent cohorts have attracted accomplished professionals from sectors such as information technology, financial services, marketing and advertising, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, and consulting. Participants typically hold senior leadership roles, including CEOs, Vice Presidents, Directors, General Managers, Senior Managers, and analysts, creating a rich peer-learning environment.

The programme is positioned against the backdrop of rapid technological change, particularly advancements in artificial intelligence and information processing, which are expected to reshape nearly 86 per cent of businesses globally over the next five years. Speaking on the programme, Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, said that the MMS programme reflects the institute’s commitment to developing leaders who can excel amid complexity and change. He noted that by integrating rigorous academic frameworks with real-world insights, the programme empowers participants to enhance critical thinking, elevate decision-making, and build resilience while balancing professional responsibilities.

Admission to the programme requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for candidates from reserved categories), at least two years of full-time work experience, and a valid CAT, GMAT, GRE, or IIM-EAT score, followed by a personal interview. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded the MMS degree along with full IIM Indore alumni status and associated benefits.
