Developed in collaboration with 1011Sports and RallyGully, the state-of-the-art Pickleball Arena reflects DPSG Palam Vihar’s continued commitment to integrating structured sports into students’ everyday lives. By introducing a globally emerging sport at the school level, the institution aims to provide learners with diverse opportunities to experience physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition within a professionally managed and safe environment.

Speaking at the inauguration, Anshul Pathak, Chairman of the DPSG Group, emphasised the school’s philosophy of balanced education. He noted that education at DPSG extends far beyond academics, with sports playing a vital role in shaping discipline, resilience, leadership qualities, and emotional strength in students. The introduction of pickleball, he added, aligns with the institution’s vision of offering globally relevant sporting opportunities that prepare learners for a dynamic and competitive world.

Highlighting the importance of building a robust sports ecosystem, Gagan Joshi, Co-Founder of 1011Sports & Sportsynthesis, spoke about the long-term impact of access to quality sports infrastructure. He shared that sports excellence begins with access—to the right facilities, trained coaches, and a safe environment. The partnership with DPSG Palam Vihar, he explained, focuses on creating sustainable and professionally managed sports infrastructure that nurtures young talent at the grassroots level while encouraging lifelong engagement with sports.

Offering insight into the sport’s rapid global rise, Aditya Khanna, President of the Pickleball Association, pointed out that pickleball is among the fastest-growing sports worldwide due to its accessibility and inclusive nature. Introducing it at the school level, he said, will play a crucial role in accelerating awareness, participation, and the development of structured competitive pathways in India.

Emphasising the importance of community engagement, the founders of RallyGully shared that the Pickleball Arena has been designed not only for students but also for the wider community.
