Srikalahasti (Andhra Pradesh) [India], December 10: Mr Harisharan Devgan, an innovative farmer, philanthropist, and Chairman of the Niche Group of Companies, performed a special holy pooja at the renowned Sri Kalahasteeswara Swamy Temple on Saturday, 6 December 2025, seeking divine blessings for the welfare and prosperity of India’s farming community. The ceremony was conducted with complete adherence to Vaidika traditions and Maha-Vidhi procedures under the guidance of senior temple priests.

Sri Kalahasti, one of the most significant spiritual centres in India, is revered for its ancient rituals and divine energy. Against this sacred backdrop, Mr. Devgan offered prayers for the strength, well-being, and long-term financial stability of farmers—the backbone of India’s agricultural economy. The ritual was attended by Vedic scholars, temple authorities, spiritual leaders, and prominent dignitaries.

Among those present were the Chief Priest, NDA State Secretary Dr B. J. Prasad, Chairman Kotte Sai Prasad, Trust Board Member V. Gurrappa Shetty, Sri Dandi Raghavaiah, and Executive Officer Bapi Reddy. Local MLA Bojjala Sudhir Reddy and Municipal Commissioner M. During his address, Mr Harisharan Devgan highlighted the need to protect and preserve India’s temples and spiritual heritage. He expressed that religious spaces must remain accessible, welcoming, and well-organised so that people from all economic or social backgrounds can visit with ease.
He shared, “The system at these religious sites should be organised in such a way that even a common man can visit comfortably.”
