HEC Infra Wins ₹16.35 Cr BESS Order in Gujarat

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], January 15: HEC Infra Projects Limited has secured a significant work order worth ₹16.35 crore from Advait Greenergy Private Limited for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Gujarat, reinforcing its growing presence in India’s future-focused power infrastructure segment.

The order involves the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of Balance of System (BoS) works, covering both electrical and civil components, on a delivery-at-site basis. The project will be executed at the 220 kV Radhanpur Substation located in the Patan district of Gujarat and forms part of a 60 MW / 115.37 MWh grid-scale BESS installation. The execution timeline for the project is set at 12 months.

HEC Infra Projects is a well-established player in the infrastructure sector, with a strong track record in extra high voltage (EHV) transmission and distribution projects. This new order marks a strategic expansion of the company’s capabilities into the fast-evolving energy storage domain, which is emerging as a cornerstone of India’s clean energy transition.
