Koragajja Track Unveiled with Grand Folklore Dance Visuals

New Delhi [India], December 10: Zee Music has unveiled the latest track from the upcoming film Koragajja, following its acquisition of the film’s audio rights. Written by director Sudheer Attavara and composed by Gopi Sundar, the new song fuses coastal folklore traditions with a contemporary rap-style musical arrangement. The track features vocals by Javed Ali, Sudheer Attavara, and Gopi Sundar, creating a blend that reflects both cultural authenticity and modern sonic experimentation.

A standout element of the track’s visual presentation is an elaborate dance sequence staged specifically for the film. Choreographed by renowned dance director Sandip Soparrkar, with assistant choreographer Ashutosh Arya, the sequence brings to life movements inspired by the folklore figure Guliga. Soparrkar also appears on screen, embodying the dynamic and expressive physical vocabulary associated with the traditional form. His performance adds depth to the narrative, reinforcing the film’s thematic interplay between devotion, identity, and mythic storytelling.

The visuals of the song incorporate additional cast members who portray characters pivotal to a moment in the storyline where the mythological figures Guliga and Panjurli encounter Koragajja. This sequence represents a meaningful narrative juncture, enhancing the emotional and cultural symbolism embedded in the film’s plot.

Production for the track took place at Someshwara Beach in Mangaluru, selected for its dramatic coastal landscape and cultural relevance. To achieve the desired scale, the team employed two 100-foot cranes and five cameras, enabling sweeping aerial shots and dynamic movement coverage. The filming schedule required careful coordination due to tide patterns, shifting light, and crowd control challenges commonly encountered in open public spaces. With police support arranged to maintain safety and ensure uninterrupted shooting conditions, the production successfully executed a technically demanding setup. Producer Thrivikram Sapalya oversaw the extensive logistics, ensuring the seamless execution of the sequence.

Koragajja, produced by Success Films and Thrivikrama Cinemas, is currently in post-production and slated for a theatrical release in January 2026. The film continues to attract attention for its rooted storytelling, integration of folklore, and ambitious technical craftsmanship.
