Sanpal Foundation Delivers ‘With Warmth’ Winter Relief

New Delhi [India], December 22: As winter tightened its grip across North India, hundreds of vulnerable families faced harsh conditions with minimal protection, limited shelter, and inadequate access to food. Responding to this seasonal crisis, Sanpal Foundation rolled out its winter relief initiative, ‘With Warmth’, aimed at providing comfort, dignity, and essential support to communities most affected by extreme cold.

The initiative was implemented in partnership with Robin Hood Army, whose volunteer network supported on-ground execution. Together, the organisations reached over 400 families across Chilla, Mahisa, and New Chandigarh, distributing more than 1,000 winter relief kits during peak cold conditions.

Each relief kit was carefully assembled to address both immediate and daily needs. Families received blankets and warm caps to protect against low temperatures, along with essential food supplies such as rice, cooking oil, and food grains. For households already under financial strain, the kits helped ease the dual burden of cold weather and food insecurity.

The drive placed particular emphasis on supporting elderly individuals, children, and families with limited access to shelter—groups for whom winter poses serious health risks. For many recipients, the assistance went beyond physical warmth, offering reassurance and a sense of being seen and supported during a difficult season.

Sanpal Foundation led the initiative end-to-end, overseeing planning, funding, and execution, while the Robin Hood Army assisted with location identification and respectful distribution through its volunteer teams. The collaborative effort ensured that aid reached beneficiaries efficiently and with dignity.

On the ground, the impact was immediate and deeply human. Volunteers were met with quiet smiles and folded hands, as families wrapped themselves in blankets and children clutched warm caps—small moments reflecting relief, gratitude, and human connection.
