SGCCI to Host Food & Beverages Expo, Global Village 2026

Surat (Gujarat) [India], January 19: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), in association with the Southern Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industries Development Centre, will organise a joint exhibition—Food & Beverages Expo and SGCCI Global Village—from 24th to 26th January 2026 at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC), Sarsana. The exhibition will be open to visitors from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on all three days.

Announcing the initiative, Nikhil Madrasi, President of SGCCI, said that the Food & Beverages Expo is aimed at promoting and accelerating the growth of the food processing industry, which continues to be a key contributor to regional and national economic development. The expo is expected to host 156 exhibitors from Surat as well as multiple cities across India, including Pune, Nashik, Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Haryana, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Rajkot, Panchmahal, Navsari, Vapi, Valsad, Ankleshwar, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Gondal, Junagadh, and Bharuch.

The Food & Beverages Expo will present a comprehensive showcase of products and services across the food processing value chain. Exhibits will include food processing machinery and equipment, packaging machinery and materials, cold chain systems, refrigeration appliances, warehousing and cargo handling solutions, food testing laboratories, insurance services, and financial solutions. In addition, visitors will have access to a wide range of food products such as dried and frozen foods, bakery and grocery items, beverages, consumer packaged goods, and information on food parks and allied infrastructure.

Alongside the Food & Beverages Expo, SGCCI will also host the second edition of SGCCI Global Village, an exhibition designed to strengthen international trade engagement and foster cross-border collaboration. The Global Village aims to reaffirm cultural, educational, and business ties between India and international markets, providing a platform for global interaction at a regional level.

The SGCCI Global Village will feature dedicated country pavilions from Dubai, Australia, Japan, Ghana, Thailand, Afghanistan, and India, among others. These pavilions will showcase cultural diversity while highlighting investment prospects, food products, real estate opportunities, tourism offerings, educational avenues, and potential business partnerships. The exhibition is expected to attract significant interest from international trade representatives and institutional stakeholders.

In addition to country pavilions, buyers and visitors from Canada, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Tunisia, and Lesotho are anticipated to attend the event. Their presence is expected to create meaningful opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and trade exploration.

The joint exhibition will provide industrialists, entrepreneurs, and traders from Surat and the wider South Gujarat region with direct exposure to international markets. It will enable participants to build new business relationships, explore export-import opportunities, and engage in structured B2B meetings with foreign delegates. SGCCI believes this interaction will play a vital role in expanding the global footprint of South Gujarat’s business community.

By hosting the Food & Beverages Expo and SGCCI Global Village under one roof, SGCCI continues to reinforce its role as a catalyst for industrial growth, international trade, and economic collaboration. The 2026 edition is expected to emerge as one of the most significant business and trade events in South Gujarat, strengthening Surat’s position as a growing hub for industry, commerce, and global engagement.
