India achieves two global firsts in AI-driven music

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 28: Indian creator and songwriter Jake Joss has set two unprecedented global milestones in AI-assisted music and video, reinforcing India’s growing reputation as a hub for creative technology. By merging intimate personal narratives with generative AI tools, Jake has executed two world-first projects within a single year—an achievement with no known global equivalent.

Jake’s first breakthrough is the world’s first fully AI-generated music video in which both the audio track and visuals were produced using prompt engineering. Titled Daddy, the project began with lyrics he penned from deeply personal memories. Using generative AI systems, he created the musical composition and then crafted every visual frame through text-based prompts. Each sequence was assembled into a coherent storyline, demonstrating a new production method that eliminates the need for traditional filming, equipment or large crews.

The India Book of Records officially recognised this innovation, naming Jake an IBR Achiever for creating the first music video developed entirely through AI-driven prompting.

Building on this accomplishment, Jake delivered another pioneering work: the world’s first Human-AI collaborative patriotic music album, with fully AI-generated music videos for each track. The five-song album, titled Azaadi, explores themes of national identity, belonging and modern patriotism. Each track features its own AI-designed video, meticulously crafted through scene-level prompts that translate lyrical ideas into five distinctive visual narratives. This establishes Azaadi as the first patriotic album globally to combine human creativity with complete AI-generated visual storytelling across all tracks.

Jake’s artistic evolution stems from real-life experiences that inspired his early musical creations. His debut song Doosra Pyaar was written for his daughter, while Birdie captured the innocence of childhood. His fusion track Eri Aali, created with his daughter, blended classical Hindustani influences with contemporary expression.

A significant part of his journey includes Electric Current, a tune he composed in childhood and cherished within his family circle. With modern AI tools, Jake transformed this playful melody into a vibrant English track, demonstrating how AI can revive dormant creative ideas and expand them into full productions.

Jake’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that technology serves as an enabler rather than a substitute for creativity. “My music did not begin with AI. It began with personal memories and moments. AI simply helped me express those feelings differently. The heart remains human. The tool is just new,” he shares.
