Dr Rajib Mukhapadhyay Wins ET Young Industry Leaders 2025

New Delhi [India], December 2: Dr Rajib Mukhapadhyay, Country Head & Director (Finance) at SkyPower Global and Co-founder of Le Rythme, has been honoured with the ET Young Industry Leaders 2025 Award for his outstanding contribution to inclusive growth, social service, and skill development across India. The award was presented by acclaimed Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu at a distinguished ceremony held at The Grand, New Delhi, attended by leading corporate visionaries, policymakers, and social changemakers.

A highly regarded academic and corporate strategist, Dr Mukhapadhyay is an alumnus of IIM Kolkata and a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. With over three decades of global leadership experience, he has shaped financial strategies for major multinational organisations, specialising in multi-billion-dollar project financing, treasury operations, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and long-term capital planning.

During his tenure as Regional Treasurer at Alstom, Dr. Mukhapadhyay oversaw financial operations across 15 countries, ensuring stringent governance, compliance, and operational efficiency at an international scale. Earlier, at GAIL, he led a pioneering digital transformation initiative that resulted in India’s first 100% corporate electronic banking platform, significantly modernising and streamlining the company’s financial systems.

Despite his global corporate responsibilities, Dr. Mukhapadhyay’s most impactful work lies in the social sector. As the Co-founder of Le Rythme, a welfare-driven organisation established in memory of his late wife, he has dedicated himself to empowering underserved communities through skill development and livelihood generation. The NGO has implemented large-scale programs focused on training underprivileged youth, women, and specially-abled individuals, equipping them with industry-aligned skills and practical employment opportunities.

Under his leadership, Le Rythme has enabled thousands of beneficiaries across multiple states to secure meaningful, sustainable livelihood pathways. The organisation continues to partner with government departments, CSR entities, and industry bodies to widen its reach and scale the impact of its mission.

He dedicated the honor to his late wife, Smt. Rini Mukherjee, a distinguished singer and the guiding spirit behind Le Rythme.
